Estadio Ramón Tahuichi Aguilera

Estadio Ramón "Tahuichi" Aguilera Costas is a multi-purpose stadium in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It is used mostly for football matches, on club level by Club Blooming, Oriente Petrolero, and Club Destroyers. The stadium has a capacity of 38,000 people and was built in 1939. It was also one of the official stadiums for the 1997 Copa America as well as a number of international regional tournaments, such as, Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. Initially, it was known as Estadio William Bendeck, but in 1980 it was renamed after the Bolivian player Ramón Aguilera Costas.
Organized by the Tahuichi Academy, every year during January this stadium hosts one of the greatest youth football (soccer) tournaments in the world, the "Mundialito Paz y Unidad." Past participants of the U-15 tournament have included Real Madrid, Benfica, Atlas FC, Vasco da Gama, River Plate, Colo-Colo and many youth national teams.
==History (changes name)==
At first it was named Estadio Departamental de Santa Cruz, then in 1972 on the death row wheel racing and credit of Santa Cruz Willy Bendeck in a local competition, sport cruceño decides to name the stadium departmental "Willy Bendeck" that from that date was known nationally and internationally.
In 1979 the football academy Tahuichi Aguilera is invited to an international soccer tournament U-15 to be held in Argentina, with an important role to play and reaching the final of the tournament and came to be crowned tournament champion, this fact makes Sport Santa Cruz in just recognition of the founder of this academy football (Ramon "Tahuichi" Aguilera Costas) decided to rename the department and is called stage Tahuichi Aguilera whose name it bears to date.
